Tim was the first parent volunteer to work with Boltage's founder, has served on its board, and is now its Executive Director. He has been an ardent advocate for the users of technology during his 25 years in the computer business, working directly with customers in field offices and in various corporate positions. Upon graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information Systems and Mathematics, he joined Apple Computer during the early Macintosh years, and worked closely with numerous university customers. He later joined a corporate team focused on bringing customer driven solutions to market, and was the first TCP/IP product manager at Apple. Building on this experience, he joined Steve Jobs at NeXT Computer where he led the project to deliver the original NeXT Cube. Tim then co-founded Amplitude Software, raising over $10 million in venture capital and growing the company to nearly 120 employees. After successfully merging Amplitude with a public company, he has worked on various projects, including the formation of Boltage.
Steve brings a wide variety of business operations and marketing experience to Boltage. After earning a BS in Business from the University of Utah, Steve started his career in telecommunications, holding positions in finance and national account sales. He then became a partner in a small bagel bakery and cafe business, which he helped grow into a national chain. As a founder and Chief Operating Officer at Einstein Bros. Bagels, Steve was responsible for the development of a strong brand and operating model, and the establishment of over 150 stores, setting the stage for a successful IPO. He then took an educational sabbatical and attended design school, after which he worked with a number of award winning design and advertising firms, and was active developing real estate through a design/build company that he founded.
Zach has been the glue that has held Boltage together through its growth to this point and has been responsible for day to day operations. Zach is a practicing attorney and has worked at several international law firms in New York, Washington, D.C. and Colorado. He continues to run his own law firm, Flatirons Law Group, where he advises clients on various legal and business matters. Zach holds undergraduate and law degrees from Duke University.
A new member to the Boltage team, Chrissy brings her experience as a child educator and a mother of two school-age daughters to the program. With her background in music theory and performance, Chrissy operated a Kindermusik studio for fourteen years, providing private music and movement classes to children from birth to age seven. During this time, she and her husband also founded Harrison Fence, a local carpentry business that today continues to provide building services to Front Range and Northern Colorado residents. In 2005, Christiane became a licensed realtor with ERA Tradewind Realty in Longmont, CO, which she worked with until 2009 when she decided to return to her studies. In July of 2010, Chrissy graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree concentrating on business management. She is thrilled to be able to apply her unique knowledge of childhood development and business administration to helping realize the Boltage vision.
